Hospice - Weekend Team Lead
JSSA Hospice has an immediate opening for a qualified RN to work part-time as a Team Leader to support a weekend team. Must be available to work every other Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am until 7pm. This position will work in a hybrid environment, both remote and onsite as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to the weekend Supervisor in coordinating clinical activities.
- Is responsible for triaging incoming calls, helping with intake calls and identifying and coordinating patient/family needs.
- Serves as a resource to the weekend team to provide support and guidance with the care of terminally ill patient/family units.
- Performs competencies with field nurses as assigned by the weekend supervisor.
Qualifications
- Active RN License to practice in the State of Maryland
- CHPN certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care, Hospice and/or home health required experience
- Experienced with Electronic Health/Medical Records systems
- Highly proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
