Mental Health Services - Clinical Supervisor I

General Overview: 

 JSSA’s Mental Health Services department is looking for a Supervisor I - Clinical to lead our team of Mental Health Therapists supporting our Falls Grove office.

Responsibilities:

·        Provide individual clinical supervision in accordance with JSSA policies and licensure regulations.

·         Serve as clinical resource to staff and attend treatment planning meetings.

·         Attend training, in-service and other clinically focused committee meetings as appropriate.

·         Provide orientation to all new supervisees in conjunction with the Program Director.

·        Evaluate, monitor and act to improve the quality of clinical services in conjunction with the Program Director, Director of OMHS, Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services, and the Director of Compliance & Continuous Quality Improvement and staff.

·         Provide training/health and wellness support as needed.

·         Ensure implementation of outreach activities assigned to supervisees.

·         Promote and represent the Agency in the community.

·         Provide limited direct service to a defined caseload of clients, according to the needs of the program.

·         Conducts groups, workshops, and trainings as appropriate.

Position Qualifications:

·        Master’s degree in social Work or an equivalent Master’s degree allied program and a current license in appropriate jurisdictions.

·       Minimum of 5 years post–Master’s clinical/therapy/supervisory experience with increasing responsibility.

·        Completion of state stipulated requirements for Clinical Supervisors.

·        Carry professional liability insurance per agency policy.
