Branch Operations Assistant - Blue Bell, PA

As a Branch Operations Assistant you will work closely with the Complex Operations Manager to ensure that all operations functions are promptly and accurately performed at the branch. The Branch Operations Assistant will be the primary liaison with home office departments including Operations, Human Resources, Compliance, Training and Private Client Group (PCG) Administration.
What you are good at:

Customer Service - Becoming the face our office and siting at the front of the house reception area, letting the Financial Advisors (FAs) and staff know when our clients come in and help route incoming calls coming on the main line. Will also act as a Private Client Associate back-up as needed.

Administration – Scheduling conference room for appointments. Prepares orders for office supplies. Restocks beverages at reception area and breakroom.

Financial Knowledge – Processes deposits and disbursements, reviews for appropriateness and accuracy. Prepares and makes bank deposits. Receives, prioritizes, and processes orders. Processes and obtains approvals for legal transfers and stock options. Forwards securities and supporting documentation to home office.

Operational – Be knowledgeable of all firm technology. Distributes branch mail, faxes, and morning reports. Performs other duties as required that contribute to the overall effectiveness of the branch office and individual FAs. Assists FAs and Complex Manager in the ongoing development and maintenance of effective client relationships as determined by the Complex Manager. Be knowledgeable of and complies with all firm policies and procedures.
What you have:

High School diploma

Prior office experience preferred but not required

Excellent customer service skills

Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Good math skills

Able to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment

Able to work effectively as part of a team

High ethical standards

FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required, willingness to Series 9 & 10 within the first year
