Department Description:
The Reliability and Compliance Department monitors compliance with North American Electric Reliability (NERC) Standards and the ISO New England Tariff. The department also works to assess and mitigate risk associated with the standards.
What will you be working on:
The intern will use Python programming to develop programs to efficiently assess business controls associated with the ISO Tariff. To do this, the intern will develop a program to search through documentation to find keywords and associated text. Typical example keywords would be "signoff" or "manage" so that signoff points and management involvement are easy to identify for automated entry into GRC software.
How will you make an impact:
This position will further ISO documentation of internal controls used for the ISO tariff. This will improve ISO ability to assess organizational risks and possible gaps.
What we look for in a candidate:
Experience with Python programming, experience with GRC software preferred but not required.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork and analytical skills.
Strong technical skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
