Architectural Products Specialist
REPORTS TO: Architectural Products Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
The Architectural Products Specialist will work with project teams to assist in development of details and specifications associated
with various architectural woodwork projects and be responsible for the successful direction of projects through the effective
collaboration of the ISEC Regional teams and Outsource Fabricators.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building and maintaining of outsource fabricator partnerships.
- Assist in engineering and purchasing strategy on architectural woodwork projects.
- May be involved in the estimating and value engineering strategies, based on complexity and/or schedule.
- Assist in specific projects to analyze scope, schedule requirements, and coordinate engineering, purchasing and installation methods to effectively bring project within budget and on schedule.
- Review purchasing process and oversee outsource procurement. Attend update
- meetings for new projects and assist the purchasing agent or project manager as necessary.
- Develop execution plan for certain projects with project team (Business Development, PM, PE, Purchasing).
- Review submitted details and specifications checklists on specific projects.
- Ensure ISEC’s commitments to core values and standards are maintained throughout the construction process.
- Possible travel to regional offices, fabricator locations, and project locations.

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management
- 5-8 years’ experience in a commercial construction management position
- Knowledge of metals fabrication processes, solid surface and stone materials, airport and
- store fixture products, and acoustical and panel system products is desired.
- Knowledge of AWI and/or WI standards
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to mentor and coach subordinates
- Conflict resolution
- Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or the equivalent combination of education and related commercial construction experience
- Minimum of 5 years commercial construction experience with 3 years in a leadership position
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Requires practical knowledge of commercial construction Architectural Woodwork methods and application of principles
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
