JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports agency’s mission, goals and management decisions, and establishes team mission and goals.
- Provide clinical guidance and oversight in the delivery of services across multiple service areas, programs, and overall service delivery sites. This includes the development of protocols, policy and procedures applicable to all behavioral health service staff and programs. Ensures the compliance with legal and ethical regulations and standards according to state and federal requirements.
- Leads the clinic in our pursuit of providing excellent clinical care to our members through evidenced based modalities and practices. Candidate will need to have an in-depth knowledge of childhood development, impact of trauma on development, family systems, and behavioral principles.
- Provide on-going assessment of program staff; including annual performance evaluation, performance improvement, identifying training needs and creating a yearly training plan to meet those need. Works with staff and/or leadership in cases requiring corrective or disciplinary action and performance improvement planning.
- Lead, coach, develop, and help to retain high-performance teams. Actively engages and helps energize staff to promote a positive work culture and morale.
- Assists in the evaluation of programs and services to measure efficacy and successes that can be effectively communicated with executive management, community members, and system partners. Ensure compliance in all aspects of providing services through quality assurance measures.
- In partnership with Executive Director, represents the agency in the community to build strong collaborative relationships with public and private funding sources, governmental agencies, system partners, and community organizations.
- Builds competencies of leadership and personnel, including reinforcing positive work ethics and values, encouraging self-reflection and critical thinking skills, building upon training to enhance performance, and supporting staff through crisis situations.
- Ensures team members adhere to the agency’s policy on billable hours/encounter expectations. Assist in revenue development strategies and cost saving measures to promote fiscal responsibility, ensuring assets are protected.
- Maintains an approved schedule and acceptable level of attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education – Master’s degree in a field eligible for Behavioral Health licensure in the State of Arizona.
- Experience - 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- License - Licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners or other acceptable state board. Independent license required.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- DPS Level I fingerprint clearance (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
- CPR, First Aid, AED certification, if required (must posses upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
- Current, valid Arizona Driver's License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of registration liability insurance to meet insure requirements, if required.
- Initial current negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).
