Senior Compensation Analyst
The Senior Compensation Analyst's primary responsibilities are to assist in developing, implementing, and administering compensation plans to attract, retain, and engage employees. This role will also serve as an internal compensation consultant. The Senior Compensation Analyst will help ensure that our compensation programs remain competitive and align with our business strategies by providing vital data and insight to the people team, Finance colleagues, and business leaders across Inland.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adheres to company’s policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.
- Be the market data expert and own all aspects of compensation data and analysis throughout the full employee life cycle including data reporting, updates and audits.
- Conducts annual benchmarking cycles; analyze and assess market data, industry trends, and best practices to create market competitive programs. Participate in industry surveys in conjunction with compensation leadership to support competitive analysis of Inland’s compensation program.
- Develop and adjust salary ranges as needed. Includes ensuring pay equity.
- Recommends job classifications and manage the integrity across entire population to ensure compensation practices are in compliance with current regulations in all markets. Conduct job evaluations for all levels (non-exempt, exempt, managerial and executive level roles).
- Builds exceptional relationships with managers of all organizational levels to review and understand the job functions and department organizations.
- Prepares and analyzes reports related to employee benefits and compensation, including monthly reporting for HR Metrics. Reviews data and presents in an effective way to tell the story.
- Ensures appropriate alignment and controls with administrative process when auditing and compensation data.
- Support People Partners on compensation related issues and work closely with Recruiting in the offer process.
- Develop and manage compensation communication materials.
- Work closely with Finance professionals to manage compensation budgets throughout the year.
- Support Inland companies and it’s affiliates in performing the annual merit review process and pay equity analysis.
- Support the compensation review process.
- Develop and iterate data analytics and ad hoc reporting on People and Compensation data
- Assists in Bonus planning.
- Ensures compliance with related laws, rules and regulations as needed. Maintains knowledge of government regulations, compensation program trends, and prevailing practices among similar organizations. Ensures compliance of compensation administration with federal and state laws, included IRS and DOL regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, in Human Resources, Business Administration or in related field from a four-year college or university or equivalent professional knowledge and/or work experience.
- Master’s Degree a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in of Compensation and Human Resources Generalist experience
Certifications/Licenses:
- HRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential a plus.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) a plus.
Skills:
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook are required for this position.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations including but not limited to ERISA, COBRA, ACA, IRS, DOL, Title 7, ADA, FMLA, FLSA and ability to apply to workplace situations.
- Strong experience with HCM, benefits and compensation modules in Ceridian Dayforce.
- Strong analytical skills, organization skills and must have the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Salary Range: $90,000-130,000. This pay range is based on a consideration of neutral factors and criteria such as required qualifications, experience, education, skill, training, certifications, seniority, and other job related requirements.
