Care Team - Assistant Director
JOB SUMMARY: The Sycamores Assistant Clinical Director for our Cares Teams is a management-level position responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall program, human and financial resources associated with our agency Cares program.
The City of West Hollywood intends to establish a 24/7/365 mobile support service, “West Hollywood Care Team” (Care Team) designed to rapidly respond to community members experiencing a behavioral health crisis and other unmet social service needs, within West Hollywood city limits. Care Team services may take place in private homes/apartments/condo units, schools, workplaces, or any other community-based location. Consumers served may include residents, both housed and unhoused, students, members of the local workforce and visitors.
The City of West Hollywood is designing the Care Team to integrate with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) network of Field Intervention Teams (FIT), which is the County’s behavioral health crisis responder system served by Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams (MCOT) and Psychiatric Mobile Response Teams (PMRT).
This position will be involved in all areas of recruiting, hiring, and supervising employees, utilizing data, forecasting, planning, and organizing program structures and processes to ensure efficient operations and sound outcomes, and developing, monitoring, and evaluating revenue and expenses to ensure effective operations. This position will be called on to work collaboratively with other Managers as well as with Executive level staff and outside stakeholders. The Assistant Director will be available for consultation during and following crisis calls, as needed, as well as to fill in when back up is needed in the field.
Starting Pay Range:
$87,000 - $95,000 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)
Shift Schedule:
Monday – Friday 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree and/or Ph. D/Psy. D with at least 1 or more years of relevant managerial experience required
- A current license: MFT and/or LCSW, LPCC from the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the current state of employment required.
- Exposure and/or training in various EBPs recommended.
- Experience and knowledge of clinical work in the mental health field (i.e., various theoretical orientations, legal and ethical issues, crisis management, clinical interventions) required.
- Experience and knowledge of the mental health field (i.e., various legal and ethical issues and crisis management) required.
- Maintains all required licenses and certifications.
- Valid California Driver License and a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.
