Director, Medi-Cal Managed Care Programs
JOB SUMMARY: Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services, housing support services and coordinated care management through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the Agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high-needs, at-risk children, youth, families, and adults.
The Sycamores Program Director for our Medi-Cal Managed Care Programs is a management-level position responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall program and service delivery, including human and financial resources associated with Medi-Cal Managed Care programs, Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports (CS), consistent with the overall philosophy and practices of the Agency. This position will be involved in all areas of recruiting, hiring, and supervising employees, utilizing data, forecasting, planning, organizing program structures and processes to ensure efficient operations and sound outcomes, and developing, monitoring, and evaluating revenue and expenses to ensure effective service delivery and operations. This position will be called on to work collaboratively with other agency Managers as well as with Executive level staff and external stakeholders.
Starting Pay Range:
$102,000 - $110,000 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in related field, LCSW or LMFT or LPCC or license occupational therapist or licensed psychologist; or bachelor’s level licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
- 2-years post-licensed, registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences or California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Three years of supervisory experience, including some managerial experience.
- Maintains all required licenses and certifications.
- Experience with Enhanced Care Management/Community Supports and/or Managed Care Plans, Medi-Cal Managed Care or Health Care Industry Systems strongly preferred.
- Valid California Driver License and a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.
