Stockroom Associate

Overview:

Reporting directly to the Strategic Buyer & Operations Supervisor, a Stockroom Associate performs physical labor to place stock and supplies in their proper place.  The Stockroom Associate will be responsible for helping the stockroom with assembly work, painting product, as well as assisting with shipping & receiving.  Must have a high regard to accuracy and quality.  

Essential Duties:

• Component assembly and filling customer orders
• Pulling stock components
• Painting products 
• Processing paperwork within Novia operations department
• Inventory activities - count verification, stocking shelves, etc.
• Collaboration & communication with all members of the Novia staff
• Moving materials through the operation of pallet jacks
• Assist co-workers and the department supervisor in meeting production targets
• Assisting with shipping, receiving, palletizing and packaging of products
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• All other duties as needed to meet company demands 

Ideal Candidate:

• High school diploma or GED
• Have exceptional attention to detail and dexterity
• Ability to read orders/drawings/blue prints & paperwork
• Mechanical aptitude.  
• MUST be able to read a measuring tape and understand numbers and figures
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and efficiently and with a good attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds)
• Reliable transportation required
• Construction or fabrication background a plus
• Painting experience preferred
