JOB SUMMARY 

 

The primary responsibilities of the Clinical Program Manager include providing supervision and staff development assistance for all direct reports as assigned by the director, as well as the oversight of day-to-day program clinical operations that representHealthRIGHT360’s philosophy, goals, policies, mission and vision.  The Clinical Program Manager is also responsible for other duties assigned by the Director which are essential to incorporating the agency’s mission and values into our service delivery.  The primary objective of the Clinical Program Manager is to balance between contract responsibilities while providing the highest quality of careThe Clinical Program Manager is responsible for motivating and inspiring a high performing team.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

Program Responsibilities:  Oversee clinical treatment and coordination of various activities and departments within facility.  Ensures treatment is in accordance with contract expectations and ensures the fidelity of the evidenced based practices and quality  of services.  Has ultimate responsibility for retention and completion of all participants.  Responsible for being a part of overall team and will work closely with the operations manager around functions of the facility, including, but not limited to safety and security, compliance, and accountability. Must be available afterhours and on weekends to respond to facility emergencies, outstanding crisis or events.  

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: Handles aspects of management, including direct supervision and mentoring of subordinate supervisory staff.  Activities include, but are not limited to, hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating. Ensures staff are familiar with program policies, procedures, and practices. Responsible for ensuring that all treatment service plans and activities are executed in keeping with the organization’s values, mission, vision and strategy. Understands Supervisors role and the role of staff and how they fit within the agency’s mission and values. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all programmatic or project contractual requirements. Responsible for ensuring all direct reports remain in compliance with all environmental, safety and health requirements of the program(s) assigned. Responsible for ensuring all direct reports remain in compliance with policies and procedures as it relates to day to day program operations in collaboration with QI and EHR staff. Works collaboratively with all level staff across allHealthright360programs. Responsible for direct report’s and team’s performance. Responsible for attending contractual meetings for program(s)Responsible for communicating with direct reports any updates or changes of program or agency as directed. Responsible for developing systems that help the program to run efficiently within the contractual and agency limitations. Provides clinical supervision to all clinical staff.  

 

Documentation Responsibilities: Maintains accurate records by entering documentation into various electronic systems for all participants in accordance with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT360, HIPAA, 42CFR, Drug Medi-Cal and funder standards to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements. Properly documents all services provided and completes admission paperwork/process and required agency assessments in timely manner and ensure that the golden thread is documented throughout the chart. Assist in ongoing maintenance of participants’ charts and other related documentationEnsure that all clinical documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner, and entered into the various electronic systems. Review notes for billing accuracy. Responsible for ensuring all direct reports meet expected timelines and documentation requirements  

 

General Responsibilities: Comply with agency’s policies and procedures. Attend and actively participatein internal and outside meetings as assignedEnsure providing quality treatment through compliance with training requirements. Arrange work schedule in accordance with agency’s needs which may include weekends, overnights, and holidays. Meet expected performance standards as assigned by supervisor. 

Qualifications

Education Required: 

  • Licensed MFT or LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist ffrom a regionally accredited graduate program in the field of Psychology or Counseling Psychology
  • Candidates must be licensed for a minimum of two years with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and possess a valid license number. 
  • Familiarity with trauma informed therapy models, cognitive–behavioral therapy, brief psychotherapy and psycho-educational approaches
  • Familiarity with working with psychotic and other severe mental health presentations

Desired:  

  • 1 year experiencing supervising others in a substance abuse treatment or community mental health setting

 

Background Clearance Required:

  • Must complete background check and livescan clearance
