The Intern Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to interns within the HealthRIGHT 360 behavioral health programs (in Northern and Southern California). The Intern Clinical Supervisor ensures the quality of clinical services by providing individual and group supervision and offering didactic trainings and consultation to interns as needed. This position is also responsible for ensuring that trauma informed and culturally competent services are being provided and appropriate professional standards and licensing/certification requirements are being met.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision responsibilities: Supervision responsibilities include monitoring the clinical work of interns and providing individual and group supervision (in-person and remotely); maintaining appropriate supervision agreements and proof of hours; signing off on required paperwork for the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as needed; completing intern evaluations and written recommendations; and assisting with crisis intervention, mandated reporting, and consultation on other urgent clinical matters; communicating with program directors/managers around interns’ progress or any areas of concern; traveling to different local program sites as necessary.
Compliance responsibilities: Compliance responsibilities include co-signing progress notes and assessments as required; performing internal audits of medical records to ensure timely completion of clinical documentation according to standards established by law, regulations, and stakeholder requirements.
Training responsibilities: Training responsibilities include developing and conducting trainings in administrative procedures and clinical topics related to the delivery of mental health and substance use services.

Education and Experience
Required:
• Licensed with CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
• A minimum of 4 years experience in the delivery of behavioral health services with supervisory responsibilities
• Completion of required clinical supervision training per BBS and ongoing maintenance of clinical supervision CEs
• Experience in intern management, training, and supervision
• Knowledge of trauma informed and evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, Seeking Safety, and harm reduction
• Knowledge of clinical documentation (assessment, treatment plans, progress notes, etc.)
• Experience in meeting compliance standards for federal, state, and local government contracts and grant requirements
• Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population
• Experience in working with co-occurring disorders, criminal justice population, and substance use
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
