Restorative Aide

A Day in the Life
As a Restorative Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting residents with their rehabilitation and restorative care programs. Your day may include working closely with physical therapists, helping residents perform range of motion exercises, assisting with mobility aids, and ensuring care plans are followed.
Schedule - Full-time, 32 hours per week, 6:00 AM -2:30 PM
How This Position Contributes to Our Mission

Support residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals by assisting with restorative care programs

Collaborate with nursing staff, physical therapists, and other care providers to implement care plans

Assist residents with range of motion exercises, ambulation, and other restorative care techniques

Monitor and document resident progress, reporting changes to nursing staff

Ensure equipment and supplies are available and maintained for restorative care programs

Encourage residents to engage in activities that promote independence and well-being
Skills and Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Kentucky

Previous experience as a Restorative Aide preferred

Experience working in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing settings

Strong understanding of restorative care techniques and equipment
-
CPR/BLS certification required

Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and residents

Excellent communication skills, patience, and compassion
