Position: Family Resource Specialist

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, some evenings or weekends may be required

A Day in the Life:

You will provide strengths-based case management to young adults, ages 18-24, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary to thrive. You will work closely with clients to access and maintain housing, increase income, connect with community resources and develop independent living skills in areas such as employment, education and social skills. You will be working in client homes and community settings such as social service agencies and local homeless shelters.

Family Resource Specialist Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related human service field required
• Two years of experience providing services to children or young adults required
• Experience with case work, group work and case coordination skills
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required
• Must be able to lift heavy items, including furniture and household items
• Ability to work some evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
