A Day in the Life:
Provide expert care for children and young adults with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders. Under Respiratory Leadership, you'll perform treatments and diagnostic procedures to improve residents' quality of life.
Shift Options: 18, 30, or 36 hours per week, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- Teach and support residents and medical trainees
- Participate in Pulmonary Rounds
- Administer treatments, pulmonary procedures, and manage ventilators
- Stay current with certifications and emergency protocols
Qualifications:
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Kentucky
- National Board of Respiratory Care certification
- Active BLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
