We’re seeking compassionate Respiratory Therapists to join our team in Louisville, where you’ll make a difference in the lives of medically complex children and young adults.

Night Shifts Available with Shift Differential!

At Home of the Innocents, our trauma-informed Sanctuary Model promotes safety, healing, and recovery. You'll use your respiratory therapy skills in a supportive, holistic environment focused on emotional well-being.

Sub-Acute Unit Opportunities:

• Manage ventilators and provide airway care, including trach changes
• Perform respiratory procedures, including weaning
• Collaborate with a dedicated, interdisciplinary team

Your Role:

• Provide compassionate respiratory care based on physician orders
• Manage ventilators and administer medications
• Conduct patient assessments and educate families on respiratory health

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Respiratory Therapist license/certification in Kentucky
• National Board of Respiratory Care certification
• Proficiency in respiratory treatments
• Active BLS certification and infection control knowledge
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Shift: Full-time, Nights (6:45 pm - 7:15 am), 2-3 shifts/week with rotating weekends

Pay: Based on experience and interviews
