We are seeking a Corporate Marketing Director to join our team in Lenexa, KS!
A member of the corporate marketing leadership team, the corporate marketing director oversees creative services, brand management, and corporate level marketing campaigns. These responsibilities include creative design and production management, reputation management, crisis communications, developing strategies for effective communication and graphics, managing the production of promotional videos, and more. Ultimately serving as the firm’s overall brand manager, the Corporate Marketing Director leads the creative services and communications teams to expand Henderson’s influence and perception in the market.Minimum Qualifications for the Role are:

- Minimum of 10 years of professional communications experience, preferably in leadership roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing strategies and plans, including video production, social media, digital marketing, and analytics.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages tailored to diverse audiences and situations.
- Proven sales and presentation skills, including experience leading organizational change initiatives.
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally, demonstrating professionalism and influence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or business administration preferred. Years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Prior experience in related industries such as engineering, construction, architecture, or other professional services.
- Marketing agency experience.
- Familiarity of vertical markets such as venue, sports, healthcare, retail, corporate, and grocery is strongly preferred.
Skills and Duties you will be Responsible for while in this role:
Visual Asset Management, Communications, and Public Relations:
- Responsible for corporate brand management, overseeing all aspects and implementation of brand standards and style guides for Henderson Companies.
- Collaborates with Sector Marketing Director and Content Marketing Director on marketing plans and leads the communications and graphics teams on the development and production of all visual assets and media engagement plans.
- Develops and manages a comprehensive crisis communications plan and trains employees on its usage and implementation.
- Collaborates with content marketing team on the packaging and publication of content.
- Manages outside agency partner relationships including PR firms, freelance designers, and video production teams.
- Leads the creative services team and the public relations strategy to grow Henderson’s brand awareness and maximize earned media mentions per marketing plans.
- Develops and implements media relations plan and editorial calendar for Henderson Companies.
- Develops media pitches that result in earned media mentions for Henderson Companies.
- Serves as crisis coordinator under the direction of the Chief Strategy Officer for major company initiatives or in times of crisis and issues management.
