GENERAL SUMMARY
Reporting to the Shipping/ Receiving Manager, the Inventory Cycle Counter performs cycle counts for the purpose of checking inventory accuracy and identifying errors in the inventory balance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Count inventory in specific locations designated by either computer-generated analysis or by storage, on demand stock out, etc.
- Move materials in warehouse for the purpose of cycle counting using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Perform cycle counts on control group to identify problems.
- Work toward a goal of greater than 95% inventory record accuracy.
- Perform cycle counts, stock checks, audits, etc. to ensure all stock-outs, shortages are resolved within less than 8 hours.
- Provide support to the distribution supervisor in order to help resolve special projects and specific department goals set by the supply chain manager utilizing 99.5% accuracy functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of Cycle Counting experience in a warehouse environment.
- 2+ years of Stand-up Reach Truck/ Forklift experience.
- High School Education
- Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require; rotate to other department functions as needed.
- Must be able to read, write, and have sufficient English reading ability.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
Multi-shift production operations may be expansive, noisy, and varying in temperature from ambient or warm in summer months depending on facility.

Starting Pay: Cycle Counter I $20.60/hr. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
