About the Controls Technician Role:

This position will be responsible for development, testing and implementation of all programming and electrical controls for all Hearthside facilities. This would include all programmable controller platforms, graphical user interface platforms, gateways, AC/DC electrical schematic development and debugging as well as training personnel on these systems both operationally and technically. This position is key to Hearthside as most of the systems in place currently need to be upgraded and there are many missing electrical schematics this position could help to develop for troubleshooting purposes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Programmable Controller/Graphical User Interface development, programming and implementation.
• Electrical System design and implementation.
• Electrical Schematic development.
• Project management.
• Print Library/Archive management.
• NFPA 70E Flash Program management.
• Electrical/Programming troubleshooting.
• Electrical/Programming training of technicians.

Qualifications

• Electrical to include VFD(s), Servos, high and low voltage troubleshooting.
• Electrical/PLC-GUI Programming/Controls design/implementation.
• AutoCAD electrical schematic one-line drawing development.
• AutoCAD mechanical drawing development.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Successfully multi-task

Starting Pay: Control Technician I $40.00/hr., Control Technician II $42.80/hr., Control Technician III $45.00/hr. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance.  We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
