Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large and complex data sets, determine price levels, and create clear, concise pricing deliverables for internal and external customers.
  • Participate in strategy development and execution for new and existing customer opportunities.
  • Identify customer risks and opportunities and deliver recommendations to commercial team for improvement.
  • Apply statistical modeling methods to determine potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
  • Translate data analytics into clear visualizations and concise presentations and communicate it visually / verbally to team members and management across the organization.
  • Develop reports for overall customer performance, low margin business, declining margins and pricing trends. Generate other ad hoc pricing or margin reports as needed.
  • Support users across the organization answering questions, making recommendations and providing a transparent view of priorities and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Education - Required: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience – Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pricing or financial analyst or related role with duties including analysis, business intelligence and reporting. Experience in supporting a sales organization and/or in an industrial distribution environment a plus
  • Fundamental understanding of pricing structures and techniques
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Emphasis on the ability to refine complex issues into understandable formats to all levels of the organization
  • Required: Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
