Fleet Maintenance Coordinator

The Role
Reporting to the Director, Fleet and Maintenance, you will be focusing on managing the maintenance for our fleet of over 2,300 vehicles across the US and Canada, supporting essential business. This will include the communication with Field Management regarding preventative and corrective fleet maintenance, and working directly with vendors and auto shops to ensure maintenance is being completed as planned to ensure fleet safety, availability, and readiness for operational use.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and communicate status of purchase/service orders with applicable parties on an on-going basis, ensuring proper procedures are followed and in line with company standards
- Maintaining all fleet related content (repairs, maintenance, vendor agreements) in the maintenance database
- Communicate with Field Operations and Driver regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, and any other maintenance related matters as needed
- Reporting workloads, and estimate repair times, schedule repairs and/or maintenance, monitor and communicate workflow of vehicles in service
- All other fleet related duties as assigned, including but not limited to; assistance in upfitting vehicles, maintaining inventory of vehicle supplies, radio and dashcam management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ambition to drive measured success and timely support of a 2,300-vehicle fleet in an essential business
- Ability to collaborate and elevate concerns and ideas to department leader
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including active listening, empathy, patience, tact and assessment
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills – adept at conveying any message, content or training to any audience
- Analytical skills to draw appropriate conclusions from data, anticipating second and third order of effects when making recommendations
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years in automotive/mechanical related experience and training
- ASE Certification is desired, but not required
