Position Overview

 

As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with the local leadership of the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) entity and corporate teams to drive strategic people initiatives across all levels of the organization. In partnership with the broader HR team, you will align the HR strategy to support the business objectives, ensure a focus on enabling and retaining the talent for the future, and partner to build a productive, inclusive, and excellence-oriented culture that reinforces our company values. You must be adept at driving large-scale change management in a fast-paced, complex environment.

 

You will join the local entity leadership team and collaborate with both local constituencies in the COEs and People Services teams, and corporate-level colleagues in the US and global entities.

 

 Specific Responsibilities:

 

1) Serve as a Business Advisor

 

  • Be a sounding board, coach and partner to leaders
  • Contribute directly to business strategy development and operational planning
  • Ensure HR practices comply with relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage employee relations issues and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

2) Talent Steward 

  • Consider short and long-term talent needs, and partner with leaders to develop workforce plans and contingencies to address talent and capability needs
  • Support talent mobility and the development of a strong internal pipeline for key roles
  • Know and maintain strong connections with key talent and high-potential employees

3) Change Agent

  • Determine and influence readiness for change, and drive adoption and utilization
  • Facilitate the introduction and application of (new) HR practices
  • Integrate and align HR practices to meet business needs and ensures business leaders understand their accountabilities

4) Data & Analytics Integrator

  • Interpret and translate HR data into meaningful business insights to ensure business leader awareness and understanding
  • Leverage internal and external HR data to focus workforce planning priorities and drive impact on business decisions
  • Utilize predictive analytics to anticipate trends and their organizational impact

5) Role Model

  • Take an active leadership role in key HR projects and initiatives
  • Develop the HR talent pipeline (by developing your own team or mentoring others within the function)
  • Engage with Center of Excellence (COE) and Shared Services colleagues to ensure a mutual understanding of business needs and to problem-solve issues and gaps in HR services or offerings

 

 

What you need: (Requirements):

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, with strong preference for Masters
  • Minimum 10 years related experience
  • Prior experience in an HR model with COE and People Operations, experience with implementing this preferred
  • Proficiency in Change Management Methodology
