Summary
Facilitate workforce development programs, provide job readiness training and career advancement support for individuals facing employment barriers.
Essential Job Functions
• Engage with employers as key stakeholders in workforce development.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Deliver workshops on job seeking, career growth, social skills, and digital literacy.
• Use diverse instructional methods, including classroom training, visual aids, and hands-on activities.
• Assess participant skills and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Evaluate course content, effectiveness, and update materials to current workforce development trends.
• Develop and implement competency-based content and learning solutions using a variety of methods to engage internal and external stakeholders for both remote and in-person learning.
• Create a strategic plan to roll out a mobile series of career readiness courses that allows external stakeholders to access micro trainings with in-person support for learning.
• Maintain accurate participant records and progress reports.
Ancillary Job Functions
• Reinforce workplace readiness skills.
• Document services in Caseworthy and other reporting tools.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
• Minimum four years in workforce development, learning & development, and curriculum design desired.
• CPR, First Aid, and crisis intervention training as needed.
Skills & Abilities
• Strong presentation, teaching, and communication skills.
• Professional engagement with customers, colleagues, and partners.
• Teamwork, marketing, and public relations abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and make sound decisions.
Work Environment
• General office setting with moderate noise.
Physical Requirements
• Sedentary work with computer use.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 15 lbs.
• Occasional travel required.
• Regular attendance is essential.
