Pool Bar/Beach Club Staff (Seasonal)
SUMMARY
Serves food and beverage products to guests while striving to exceed guest expectations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide the best service possible to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide quality products, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere for all customers
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Take guests orders for food and beverage, describing any applicable specials
- Serve order to guests, offering additional service
- Present check and explain available payment methods and discounts
- Check all stations and supplies for cleanliness
- Stock necessary supplies and set-ups
- Make drinks for customers and serve the customers orders for food and beverage
- Operate MICROS Computer System
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Clear and clean tables
- Maintain proper sanitation, safety procedures, and cleanliness in work areas
- Follow all policies and procedures outlined by manager and employee handbook
- Act as an extension of the security department and lifeguard in protecting the assets of the hotel and all guests and their safety by observing any questionable or reckless behavior
- Assume all responsibilities delegated by the managers and do any or all other duties to fulfill customer needs and requests
- Attend all meetings and complete online trainings
- Must understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Previous serving experience required
- Must be 18 years of age, as required by law
- MICROS experience preferred
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Applicant needs to be able to work in a fast paced environment and able to work varied hours to include weekends and holidays. Time off requests are only granted if business allows. Applicant must be able to work well as an individual and as a member of a team with a goal of providing outstanding guest service.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for prolonged periods of time, walk, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Applicant needs to be able to stay upbeat and positive in a fast paced work environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Fast paced environment
Majority of work is outdoors, must be able to stand and work in very warm weather
COMMENTS
Native American Preference will apply. Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug test as a condition of employment. Must be able to work flexible hours and take on additional responsibilities when asked. Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality
