Job summary:
Responsible for administering anesthetics to prevent patients from feeling pain and associated sensations. The CRNA closely monitors a patient’s vital signs during surgery and adjusts anesthetics accordingly as well as monitors patients through the first recovery stages after an operation and administers appropriate medications during recovery. The CRNA also treats patients during painful invasive procedures, performing all assigned duties while displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of the GRMC supporting our mission, vision, and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients.
REQUIREMENTS: Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Valid and unrestricted Guam nursing license. Current ACLS, PALS, NRP certification. Active Controlled Substance Registration. Active DEA registration.
