This is a hands-on role where you can be a key part of a dynamic production team. As a Molding Specialist – Iron Delivery, you’ll operate a powered forklift to transport iron safely and efficiently, ensuring smooth production flow and minimal delays. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in safety and precision, this is the job for you!
What You'll Do:
- Operate forklifts safely and report any repair needs immediately to keep things running smoothly.
- Keep your forklift fueled and ready to go.
- Communicate any operational or quality concerns to your supervisor.
- Complete forklift daily inspection checklists to ensure top performance.
- Participate in daily team meetings to stay informed and aligned.
- Transport full ladles to the pouring deck and assist in their placement for production.
- Tackle additional duties as needed—every day brings a new challenge.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures—your well-being and the quality of our work are our top priorities.

What We Need from You:
- Completion of at least the 10th grade.
- Must be trained and certified in forklift operation within the facility and wear the required helmet sticker signifying this status
- Mechanical proficiency or prior industrial experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to climb on and off equipment, walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Completion of all required safety training for Grede – Browntown team members.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions with precision.
