The Maintenance Mechanic Technician will assist in the repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production machinery. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions.

What You'll Do:

• Should be familiar with all tools associated with the repair and maintenance of all company equipment. This includes calipers, depth micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement tools.
• Perform all tasks associated with mechanical P.M.s without assistance.
• Ability to repair or replace all pneumatic or hydraulic fittings, hoses, valves, regulators, gauges, filters, etc.
• Ability to repair or replace all PVC coolant plumbing and components.
• Ability to operate manual drill presses, lathes and mills to perform simple repair tasks to repair machinery.
• Knowledge of a welder for light repairs and fabrication.
• Assist other mechanics in more difficult repairs with supervision to increase job knowledge and understanding.
• Will become familiar with the basic function and minor repair work to robots and other secondary equipment associated with CNC machining operations.
• Has the basic hand tools necessary to perform job assignments and agrees to improve their tool selection as their job responsibility increases.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Become familiar with MP2 and how to document labor, parts, and repairs.
• Performs miscellaneous work assignments as directed.

What We Need From You:

• Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, perimeter, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Proven experience preferred.
• Approach assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member.
• Understand and use shop math, fairly complicated drawings and formulas, and precision measuring instruments.
• Considerable judgment and creativity to plan, layout, and perform difficult work with concentrated mental and visual attention.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and twist, bend, and stand during shift.
• Willing and able to wear all required PPE (safety goggles, hearing protection, steel-toe non-slip safety shoes, and gloves as needed)
