The Accounts Payable and Receivable Associate will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations. This includes maintaining the payables ledgers from receipt of invoices to payment of the check.

Starting wage at $18 an hour (or more based on experience)!

Job Duties:

  • Post resident payments by recording check transactions.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits.
  • Resolve collections on past due accounts.
  • Enter and code invoices for payment. 
  • Prepare resident statements upon move-out.
  • Respond to resident inquiries on their account.
  • Review information for accuracy and completeness. Research and correct errors or discrepancies.  
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Serve as a support to the field positions as a resource for vendor questions and or concerns. 

Experience and Education:

  • Associate’s (2 year) degree in Accounting or related field required or 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Weekend work may be required.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making.
