Pay/Schedule:

•    Commensurate with Experience
•    Work schedule: 5:45 A.M. to 2:15 P.M.

Position Summary:

Setup, program, operate and adjust 2D/3D CNC controlled steel wire forming equipment.

Main responsibilities:

• Program and run wire form machines.
• Assist team members when needed.
• Be proficient in blueprint reading.
• Follow all safety procedures as set forth by the company.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
•  Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic
• Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
•  Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with company Employee Handbook
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Long periods standing
• Some squatting and bending throughout the day.
• Consistent use of hand tools
• Federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of steel wire forming characteristics
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic ability to read and understand blueprints
• Previous experience in a shop environment
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
