Job Summary: Provide bioanalytical quantitative analysis of test compound in biological matrices obtained from a variety of non-regulated and regulated preclinical, PK, and clinical studies.

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Regulated and non-regulated study method development, sample analysis, method validation, data acquisition and interpretation, and calculations
  • Emphasis in development and analysis of quantitative LC/MS/MS analytical techniques utilizing validated hardware and software systems. Demonstrated ability to operate independently with experience in the development of rapid HPLC separations and sample extraction techniques.
  • Writing final reports, communicating progress and issues to Team Lead
  • Quality Control of non-GLP and GLP data including data summary tables, reagent preparation, sample preparation, and raw data
  • System qualification (equipment calibration, maintenance, and authorship and modification of SOPs), ordering and managing inventory, and shipping and receiving

 

 Job QualificationsGeneral Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) required

 

  • Experience with sample extraction techniques such as PPT, SPE, and SLE.
  • Time management, organizational skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Method development, executing, and troubleshooting LC-MS/MS assays experience.
  • Ability to work effectively as both an individual contributor and in a collaborative team setting.
  • Knowledge regarding troubleshooting techniques of bioanalytical assay method development, qualification, validation, and sample analysis desirable.
  • Experience in the application of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to provide accurate documentation of analytical results.
  • Experience using laboratory equipment including LC-MS/MS, Precellys® tissue homogenizer and routine laboratory equipment used for sample preparation desirable.
  • Knowledge of or capability to learn Analyst® and Microsoft® Office software platforms desirable.

 

Physical Demands: Physical, Mental and workplace Environment Conditions

 

  • Attention to detail regarding safety and accuracy of procedures performed. Light lifting of up to 20lbs. may be required.

  • Position functions are performed in an office and laboratory environment.

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, pharmacy or a related discipline, plus a minimum 3 years of applicable lab bench experience.
