Job Readiness Instructor - Greene County (Part Time)
Part-Time position - approximately 24 hrs. per week
Summary
Responsible for providing employment/vocational services to referred clientele. Assesses barriers and coordinates customers’ individual service plans, thereby enabling them to become self-sufficient.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and implements curriculum plan of service delivery for interns who have multiple barriers towards independence.
- Maintains curricula and materials for Job Search/Job Readiness class.
- Reviews documentation and records to meet requirements for specific funding sources.
- Develops rapport with interns and provides information on the progress of each consumer.
- Documents accurate case information on each participant from intake through discharge.
- Documents each contact with customer.
- Provides Program Coordinator with necessary reports in a timely manner.
- Provides interns with job-readiness skills.
- Works with Quality Assurance to ensure optimal and appropriate Individual Service Plan goals and objectives are achieved.
- Assist interns with job placement and retention.
- Provides own transportation and adequate liability insurance.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all Agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout work areas and maintains same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Leading Candidates will have a strong background in working with the all populations, instructing, vocational rehabilitation, vocational assessment, and job placement services.
Experience Requirements
Involvement in implementation and development of training programs for adults with disabling and disadvantaging conditions.

- Employee must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider. - Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
