The pay for this position is $110,700 -$176,600/annually. This is a remote based position.

Job Description

The IT Principal Functional Analyst SAP QM, Manufacturing and Labeling will provide hands-on leadership, configuration, and support of a digital transformation and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA. The candidate is ultimately responsible for SAP and non-SAP applications used by the business, including process improvements, data analysis, customer satisfaction, managing consultants, and delivery of projects, with minimum day-to-day supervision. This position is an integral part of the Information Technology (IT) team that ensures excellent customer service and involves substantial responsibility for the overall application delivery, enhancement, and ongoing support.

In this role, the candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to quickly learn existing business processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g., SAP capability, Standard industry best practices) to produce an optimal business solution. The candidate must also possess the skills to initiate, evaluate, develop, defend, and influence users to adopt solid, actionable recommendations.

Successful candidate for this job must have a strong understanding of and thorough knowledge of:

  • SAP QM modules including quality planning, quality inspection, quality control, and quality notifications processes.
  • SAP batch management, track and trace solutions and GS1 standards.
  • SAP integration with shop floor applications (e.g. MES).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and own support for the SAP QM module including all areas of quality management, manufacturing and labeling processes.
  • Apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve complex business processes and procedural problems.
  • Participate in and take ownership of cross-functional projects and deliver SAP processes and application solutions for our internal business units and customers.
  • Participate in the design and development of stable, efficient business solutions. Drive excellence in solutions.
  • Provide business customers with expert troubleshooting and problem-resolution capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and debug SAP programs to solve application or configuration issues.
  • Proactively seek out, identify, and assess new technology and concepts that will add value to the business.
  • Ensure appropriate involvement in project teams to build ownership for solutions.
  • Work directly with SAP on a technical level to solve application issues.
  • Investigate complex SAP notes, understand potential system impact, and work with ABAP and BASIS resources to apply appropriate notes.
  • Maintain, manage, and own changes/enhancements to SAP configuration to support the global end-to-end order to cash processes.
  • Manage and perform the design, testing, and application of the SAP order-to-cash system configuration by agreed-upon timeframes, business requirements, and global standards.
  • Develop business solutions with expertise in all order to cash processes in an SAP environment.

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements

  • 8+ years of SAP experience.
  • Participation in at least one complete cycle of SAP implementations.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in delivering enterprise business solutions.
  • At least 8 years of process mapping and process reengineering experience.
  • At least 8 years of SAP QM configuration experience, including designing solutions for wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels in SAP or S/4 environments, is required.
  • Experience implementing or supporting SAP S/4 HANA is highly desired.

Experience / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or an equivalent combination of coursework and demonstrated direct job experience.
  • Experience with projects integrating SAP to cloud platforms.
  • Experience working with remote teams and matrixed reporting environments.
  • Knowledge and experience in Wholesale, consumer, and retail channels and integrating those into an SAP ERP platform.
  • Experience with integration e-commerce and other SAAS consumer platforms is a plus.
  • Experience working with business intelligence and data analytics teams to deliver business reporting is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in the consumer goods or food industry is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and business relationship skills are required.

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.  We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
