GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Fresh Realm is looking for a Logistics Analyst to help build and implement tools and systems to improve and scale our delivery infrastructure and performance. The right candidate should be able to identify opportunities to improve timeliness, cost effectiveness, and efficiency of logistics activities. They will have a strong analytical reporting background and organizational skills with the ability to clearly, concisely, and visually summarize and interpret large volumes of data into management reports, determine appropriate course of action, and provide recommendations and suggestions for positive/proactive changes. This role will play a critical role in evolving our inbound logistics operations. Our industry faces a constantly changing environment that makes this very fast-paced, which requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills. They will need to partner with sourcing, planning and finance teams to identify consolidation strategies, work together with buyers to balance inventory management against freight cost savings, and model an overall network strategy to maximize visibility across the organization. This role has a direct and highly visible daily impact on our company’s financial results and, in turn, has frequent direct interaction with our senior managers.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Understanding of overall supply chain market best practices related to transportation, warehousing, and distribution trends and how the systems integrate into various systems including ERP, TMS, and WMS

● Analyze and optimize the supply chain, developing new routes and methods as needed to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods possible

● Develop reporting tools and dashboards to help maintain effective KPI measures across internal and external cross-functional stakeholders. Coordinate updates to reporting views as needed to support daily, weekly, and monthly needs.

● Create and maintain documentation of processes and procedures (e.g. SOPs, work instructions) for planning activities as needed.

● Run RFPs with 3PLs for freight services, to ensure that logistics spend is in line with budget.

● Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement changes. Lead execution of approved recommendations when and where appropriate.

● Ensure consistent understanding and use of ERP planning tools.

● Validate and improve master data accuracy to drive better system performance.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations management, or similar

 - Expert level Excel User: Ability to use advanced equations and functions (writing macros, writing logical statements, statistic modeling, trend, and predictions) within Microsoft Excel.

- Outstanding technical and analytical skills. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.

- A strong team player able to assume varying roles within a team and work with external partners as needed for the success of the project.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.

 - Experience working in an ERP, TMS, and WMS systems. What We Offer
