GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

The pay range for this role is $145,000-$155,000 per year.

 

The Sr. SAP IT Project Manager will be focused on leading and overseeing challenging and impactful SAP and non-SAP programs/projects from beginning to end using agile and waterfall practices. This includes creating effective project and resource plans, planning, budgeting, scheduling, identifying and resolving risks/issues, and reporting. This candidate will make a difference by working closely with cross-functional teams, exhibiting excellent communication skills, developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and being incredibly organized. 

 

In this role, the candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to quickly learn existing business processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines to lead large scale projectsThe candidate must also be able to develop strategies and approaches for complex projects to ensure integration across FreshRealm while also delivering business value rapidly. 

 

 

A successful candidate for this job must have a strong understanding of and thorough knowledge of: 

  • Leading and managing key strategic projects and initiatives, from inception to completion. 

  • Managing large SAP S4/HANA implementation programs with SAP Activate Methodology and using SAP Cloud ALM project management toolset. 

  • Executing large scale implementations using agile and waterfall methodologies. 

  • Building best practices for project management and the FreshRealm SDLC methodology. 

  • Change management principles. 

 

Excellent planning, organization, communication and business relationship skills are required 

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead cross-functional teams across the project lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and post Go-Live support. 

  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor progress 

  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed 

  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and updates 

  • Manage stakeholder relationships with Business, IT and Consulting Partners, ensuring clear communication, risk evaluation, expectation settings, and alignment across all levels of the organization. 

  • Oversee the project budget, timelines, and resources, ensuring the program is delivered on time, within scope, and budget. 

  • Manage scope and project approach to deliver maximum value in the shortest time. 

  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure business readiness, smooth adoption and minimize disruption to the business. 

  • Implement best practices around waterfall and agile methodologies to enable continuous delivery of value. 

  • High-level understanding of SAP applications, integration and architecture 

  • Experience using tools like Monday.com and Zendesk. 

  • Strong documentation skills ensuring all decisions, outcomes and risks are communicated. 

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of IT programs 

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB 

 

Skills and Requirements 

  • 9+ years of project management experience. 

  • 9+ years of experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating schedules. 

  • 9+yearsof relevant experience in delivering enterprise business solutions.  

  • Understanding of SAP S/4HANA, cloud technologies, and digital transformation. 

Experience / Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or an equivalent combination of coursework and demonstrated direct job experience. 

  • Experience with projects integrating SAP to cloud platforms. 

  • Experience working with remote teams and matrixed reporting environments. 

  • Knowledge and experience in Wholesale, consumer, and retail channels and integrating those into an SAP ERP platform.  

  • Experience with integration e-commerce and other SAAS consumer platforms is a plus. 

  • Experience working with business intelligence and data analytics teams to deliver business reporting is a plus. 

  • Previous experience working in the consumer goods or food industry is highly preferred.

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.  We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
