The OTE for this role is $250,000 - $300,000. This is a remote based role.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team, specializing in solution selling within the Food as a Service (FaaS) industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in building relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive sales and foster long-term partnerships. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and achieving our growth targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting specific segments within the Food as a Service industry or the Medical Meal Industry.
  • Identify potential clients, generate leads, and convert them into active customers through solution-oriented selling techniques.

Solution Selling

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential and existing clients to understand their challenges, operational needs, and goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product development, marketing, and customer service) to design customized solutions that address client pain points and enhance their service offerings.
  • Present compelling product demonstrations and proposals that clearly articulate the value and ROI of our solutions.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication, follow-ups, and personalized service.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their operations and achieve their business objectives.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns or issues promptly to foster loyalty and retention.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from clients and prospects to refine our offerings and improve market positioning.

Sales Reporting and Performance Tracking

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, promotional strategies, and product features.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

 

Qualifications

Skills/Requirements

  • Solution Selling: Expertise in understanding client needs and presenting tailored solutions that drive value.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to close deals and create win-win scenarios for clients and the company.
  • Analytical: Ability to analyze market data, sales metrics, and client feedback to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Customer-Centric: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the Food as a Service industry or Medical Meal Industry, with a proven track record in solution selling
  • Familiarity with food service operations, technologies, and market trends is highly desirable.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
