Friendship is looking for a Cook to join our new Bistro ’66 team, located on Hershberger Road. Our team provides the highest quality of care and excellent customer service! Working without their team and with other departments, you will utilize your knowledge and food service skills.

Shifts Available:

• Full Time 8 hour shifts – Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. daily

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cook experience preferred
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public

Responsibilities:

• Correctly operate kitchen equipment and utensils
• Prepares quality, nutritious foods by following direction/assignments; prepares special foods by request on forecast sheets
• Follows cleaning schedule of equipment and areas as assigned
• Uses communication sheets to tell staff which foods have been prepared and seeks approval for any changes or substitutions
