Summary:  Under limited supervision and with significant independent judgment, supervises and coordinates the facility engineering, grounds management, maintenance, and planning and construction functions of the administration department.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  1. Provide oversight of all facilities management, maintenance, and planning and construction activities and provides management expertise for all company properties, including:
  1. Maintain optimal workflows and processes
  2. Provide consistent delivery of a high-quality work product
  3. Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
  4. Ensure the safety, cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of company properties
  5. Monitor project outcomes
  6. Collaborate with upper management on budgeting for facilities needs

 

  1. Functions as the Manager of employees of a major organizational business unit, generally through subordinate leaders, including but not limited to:
    1. Communicates vision. Develops and recommends strategic and operational plans.
    2. Organizes and manages resources to achieve business results. Trains, coaches and leads staff.
    3. Oversees and conducts performance management, including performance planning, performance appraisal, and development of subordinates.
    4. Recommends and implements employment actions, including employment/termination, corrective action, promotions/demotions, salary changes, etc.

  2. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Level 5:   Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
