Spring Arbor Senior Living Senior Living located in Kinston, NC is seeking a Med Tech or CNA with leadership experience to join our team as a Cottage Care Coordinator. The coordinator will plan, direct and execute as needed all resident care staffing and service needs. The ideal candidate will have memory care experience, a passion for caring for people, and have a history of strong leadership. Active Med Tech or CNA certification is required.

Schedule:

  • This is a role requiring flexibility and adaptability. The ideal candidate must be prepared to address call-offs and ensure coverage during unexpected absences.

  • Candidates must be 21 years of age or older 
  • Med Tech and or CNA certification required and in good standing with state licensing authority
  • Aptitude and previous experience with Alzheimer’s and memory impaired residents preferred
  • Strong background in senior care and leadership
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with employee relations 

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

  • Recruit, manage and direct resident care staff
  • Orient, monitor progress and reinforce training of resident care staff
  • Complete all Spring Arbor and state required documentation; implement new state regulations as required
  • Audit Medication Administration Reports; notify pharmacy of changes
  • Develop and implement resident care plans to meet the needs of residents
  • Enrich Lives: Create and implement person-centered activities and life skills programming
  • Coordinate Care: Work with care teams and community department heads to address resident care needs
