Job Summary: We are seeking a Compressed Air Technician to install, repair, and maintain air compressors, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and completing work orders
- Interacting with customers at their physical location on a daily basis
- Ordering equipment supplies, repair components, general items for service
- Reading and understanding electrical and wiring diagrams
- Installing and repairing various manufactured brands of rotating equipment (air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers)
- Installing aluminum modular piping
- Observing and testing newly installed systems
- Planned maintenance and troubleshooting various manufactured brands of rotating equipment (air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers)
- Maintaining truck stock levels
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years minimum experience as a compressed air technician
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics
- Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
- Clean driving record
- Travel throughout the state of South Carolina
