Job Statement
The E-commerce Content Coordinator I is a member of the Web Team and reports to the Director of Marketing. The position is responsible for updating and maintaining our E-commerce website, ensuring our product pages are visually appealing and represent accurate, up-to-date content and pricing. This role involves writing and editing website content and performing IT-related tasks that create our product pages on our proprietary E-commerce platform.

Essential KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Oversee the evaluation of landing pages, product information, checkout processes, and all other critical website components to ensure their alignment with business objectives, visual appeal, accuracy, and optimal user experience.
  • Review manufacturer-provided data sheets, manuals, and other product information.
  • Independently manage the addition of product text, options, and pricing to web pages using the in-house admin program, ensuring consistency with overall business strategy and market competitiveness.
  • Take ownership of building part numbers and developing pricing configurators based on vendor price lists. Collaborate with vendors to ensure pricing updates are implemented efficiently, driving both cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Utilize Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop to edit vendor-provided photos with a keen eye toward maintaining brand consistency and enhancing visual impact in line with overall marketing goals.
  • Oversee and prioritize website page requests submitted by the Engineering team from a shared inbox, ensuring requests are handled promptly and in alignment with broader company initiatives.
  • Act as a key resource for fellow E-commerce team members, offering strategic support on various projects and fostering strong cross-departmental communication to ensure alignment with business goals.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will display the following:

  • 0-4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Proven ability to stay organized, collaborate effectively with teams, and ensure quality assurance in tasks and projects.
  • Strong aptitude in math and problem-solving, with exceptional organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both within the web team and across departments, fostering collaboration and clarity in shared goals.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Quick to learn and adapt to new software tools and systems, demonstrating a proactive approach to technology adoption.
  • Effective time management and workload prioritization to meet deadlines and project milestones.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, taking initiative in tasks and responsibilities.
  • Experience in eCommerce operations is an advantage but not required.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and HTML is a plus but not mandatory.

Work Atmosphere
The E-commerce Content Coordinator I works in a typical office environment, with a clean setting and climate-controlled temperature. The office has significant exposure to natural light. Substantial time is spent at a desk, sitting, and making repetitive motions through computer work.
