Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Site Reliability Engineer. In the role, we are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our dynamic team. As an SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based applications and services. You will work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain robust, scalable systems.
How We Work
As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be expected to in an onsite environment reporting to our Beaverton office location. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
- Company-issued equipment
- Formal, hands-on training
Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure.
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and improve system reliability.
- Utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Pulumi to manage and provision cloud resources.
- Monitoring system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborating with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Conducting root cause analysis of incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Participating in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Continuously improving system reliability through feedback and proactive measures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience with Python and C# for automation and scripting.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
