What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Technical Product Owner within our Fuel division. This position falls under our North America Fuel line of business and is a Remote position in North America. In this role, you will work directly with the Corpay development team to prioritize and manage the work backlog. Responsibilities include the identification of market needs, defining Epics and User Stories, supporting customer service, sales and marketing and acting as the Product Owner on the Scrum team. You will report directly to VP of Product Management and regularly collaborate with Development.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Collaboration with the VP of Product Management and customers to establish a Product Roadmap that drives retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers
  • Prioritize the product backlog for delivery of new features, enhancements to existing features and support for the current product.
  • Translate roadmap Epics into well-defined features, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, refine requirements, and continuously improve as a team
  • Be the VOC and Driver of projects from inception to GTM launch with cross functional teams
  • Become a product SME and support the sales, marketing and customer service organizations through product education
  • Collaborate with IT to identify the best technical approach to meet customer needs and business objectives as well as identify supporting tools/applications as needed
  • Collaborate with other scrum teams to identify and plan for dependent work

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a Technical Product Owner and/or Product Manager role working with software development teams preferably with technical solutions
  • Experience working with SaaS applications with thousands of users
  • Experience in writing requirements in the form of user stories
  • Experience with Agile software development tools (Jira)
  • Experience in Data Analytics to measure product outcomes
  • Experience in Fintech, Financial Services or Payments industry focused on Accounts Payables
  • Experience with accounting applications like QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, MS Business Central 365, Xero etc.
  • Experience with technical implementations such as API definition, workflow tools and supporting architecture design discussions
  • Experience taking products to marketing including cross functional team project management and post launch metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in working in a virtual environment using collaboration tools such as Slack, Teams, G-Suite or MS Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
