What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Learning Specialist within our CLC division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Lexington, KY. In this role, you will coordinate, schedules and facilitates CLC Academy technical and business curriculum. In addition, the Learning Specialist will assist in the planning, development and execution of new learning and development initiatives. You will report directly to the Training Manager and regularly collaborate with new hires and different teams.

As a Learning Specialist, you will be expected to work in an office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Delivering facilitator-led participant-centered classroom training
  • Conducting on the job coaching
  • Completing verbal and written feedback
  • Conducting morning and afternoon recaps of the learning from that day
  • Overseeing the workflow of the apprentices
  • Monitoring apprentice performance and tracks individual key metrics
  • Encouraging apprentices to interact with the customers using the Raving Fans basics
  • Setting goals for the apprentices
  • Monitoring all interactions that affect client relationships, including but not limited to:
  • Inbound and Outbound calls between apprentice and client, new request and reservation process, client messages relating to apprentice(s)’s work, reservation changes, extensions and cancellations
  • Recognizing when and how to escalate performance and/or attitude concerns
  • Delivering core training that includes a high level of understanding of CLC and CLC proprietary software
  • Establishing credibility with learners by knowing the content area, providing relevant examples and linking the curriculum to the audiences’ experiences and job positions
  • Performing administrative responsibilities, such as classroom set-up/upkeep, scheduling classes, and evaluating course delivery and performance
  • Developing, modifying and updating program curriculum and/or materials
  • Assisting in the development of training videos and eLearning modules
  • Working with Supervisors to ensure new hires receive continuous development training during their first 90 days to increase job duty accuracy
  • Embodying the values and lives out the company’s mission
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned

 Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 2-years of customer service experience
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in the production side of CLC Operations 
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Internet
  • Achieve AND maintain a minimum of “Meets Expectations” on quarterly Score Card
  • Demonstrates a positive “can-do” attitude, self-motivated and committed to high workplace standards 
  • No disciplinary actions in the last six months

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Training Experience Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 
  • Communicates confidently and effectively at all levels within an organization 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver superior service with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students and peers
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
