Operations Campaign Analyst

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire an Operations Campaign Analyst within our Vendor Management division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will be an independent contributor that uses expert skills in data analytics and business process measurement to analyze data and make opportunity recommendations. Experience in driving improvements in operational metrics, reporting, complex analytics, and master data management. You will report directly to Manager, Strategic Campaigns and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Maximizing use of current tools, reports, and programs as well as using technological creativity and know-how to automate manual reporting/tools and development and creation of new reporting/tools
  • Managing and analyzing large data sets in support of strategic initiatives and identifying areas of opportunity
  • Converting unstructured, multi-source data into relevant, strategic information
  • Working with Leadership and Strategic Campaign Advisors to provide data, analysis, and recommendations to improve campaign performance
  • Collaborating with operational personnel to understand data analysis needs, explain trends in data and actively drive further research and/or operational changes within Vendor Management
  • Driving the development of data management analytics to support Corpay data quality improvements and campaign performance tracking
  • Supporting Vendor Management department and Strategic Campaign Advisors in analyzing and identifying areas for opportunity within campaign files
  • Identifying and implementing data quality and operational improvement metrics
  • Building dashboards/recurring reporting in support of business operations
  • Identifying data analytics gaps and identifying data sources to provide needed information
  • Facilitating meetings and conversations with business leaders and SCAs to identify and document data, analytics, or reporting requirements
  • Using requirements to recommend/develop/execute the best solution
  • Regularly assessing and analyzing VM process performance to drive more efficient processing, improved data quality, and better customer experience
  • Regularly reviewing existing reports and reporting methods to assess currency and effectiveness in driving performance
  • Making recommendations on continuing to produce, change, or retire reports

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Business Analytics or Statistics
  • Minimum of 4 years of analytics experience including statistical and ad-hoc analysis
  • Expert computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Access
  • Some programming knowledge (SQL, R, Python, etc.)
  • Excellent and demonstrable knowledge of various statistical analysis methods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in both an independent and a team environment and demonstrates flexibility in approach to work, people, and processes
  • Able to extract data from large-scale databases or applications to create custom datasets, models, or reports
  • Experience with business intelligence tools a plus
  • Experience/knowledge of company products, services, and business operations desired
  • Project management experience desired
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and execute goals, and needs little direct supervision
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and or other CRM packages preferred
  • Card payables experience or analytics experience in a Procure to Pay organization is preferred
