We have an opening for a Powerwash Apprentice in our Polymer plant. Responsibilities: Supports the manufacture of Polymer products through safe material receiving and handling Ensures quality and cost effective packaging of products (drumming-pumping) Cleaning of equipment (powerwashing, other methods) Proper handling and disposal of waste to meet customer requirements Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent required 18 years of age or older Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check Industrial experience is strongly preferred Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Union membership required after 30 days of employment Shift  2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) Occasional overtime may be required. Observes facility and make reports of unusual appearances, sounds, or scents. Monitors weather conditions, alarm systems, security cameras; coordinate employee actions during emergency situations (evacuation, emergency transport, plant shutdown). We are seeking an Automation & Controls Engineer who thrives on solving problems, improving systems, and taking ownership of their work.   This role is ideal for an engineer who prefers to address root causes instead of symptoms, seeks out opportunities to optimize rather than maintain the status quo, and wants to contribute meaningfully to both daily production and strategic automation initiatives. This position is responsible for maintaining existing customers, adding new customers, and growing sales volume and profits in assigned territory.   Fundamental Job Tasks:    Retains current clients by offering superior customer service.  Works with key customers on the coordination of both current products and new product development.  Aids in the training of customer personnel and new hires.  Maintains good relationships with customers, assists customers with information on general inquiries and requests, problems and complaints, price quotations, status of current orders, etc.  Communicates with customers by periodic personal visits, telephone and correspondence.  Able to defer threats by the competition.  Supports Franklin's vision, values, and reputation for superior technical service.    Gains new customers by employing effective sales and marketing strategies.  Analyzes potential markets with respect to Franklin capabilities and sales goals.  Convinces prospective customers of the desirability of purchasing from Franklin.
