- Provides status of financial condition, results of operations and cash flows by collecting, interpreting,
- and reporting financial data on a monthly and ad hoc basis;
- Monitors and assists Controller with enforcing policies and procedures;
- Protects assets by assisting Controller with establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls;
- Assists Controller by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors, for both book
- audits and the NHL required audits of Hockey-Related Revenue (HRR) and the Uniform Report of
- Operations (URO);
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends;
- Assists Controller with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new
- legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial
- reports, advising management on needed actions;
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on
- work results;
- Maintains financial staff by assisting the Controller with recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training
- employees;
- Performs other related duties on an ad hoc basis as directed; and
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.
