EXL Health is looking for a Leader of Operations for our Medical Records - Document Processing Team – Early Shift. Hours are Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm! This role is located at our EXL Office in Pittsburgh, PA in the Robinson area.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day to day operations of the Medical Records Management (MRM) Team

• Ensure defined SLA’s are met
• Record Request, Findings, other letter types are prepared for mailing daily
• Medical Records and Invoices are processed and attached in EXL’s auditing system
• Work with third-party vendor for offsite document storage and retrieval, making sure all files are secure and have been properly inventoried
• Publish daily/weekly/monthly metrics on Productivity and Quality
• Maintain SOP and process checklists for the key activities of the MRM Team
• Facilitate resolution of process related issues
• Conduct all job functions and responsibilities in accordance with company Compliance, Information Security and Regulatory policies, procedures and programs.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff on a weekly/monthly basis
• Assist with training staff where necessary

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 - 4 years previous Management experience, especially in a document processing environment
• Bachelor’s Degree

• Excellent operational and team management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong demonstrated communication skills
• Excellent relationship building skills

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis with Excel and Outlook
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment either with a team or individually
• Comfortable using various types of office equipment and software programs
• Ability to transition from one task to another, while maintaining attention to detail
