Job tile - Sr. Developer Hybrid Role
Responsibilities
- Must have experience on Life Admin Systems/ Life Insurance, Annuity products.
- Min 8+ years of experience in development of policy administration system (COBOL)
- Min 8+ years of experience in development/maintenance and Support projects of Mainframe preferably Cobol & DB2.
- Min 6+ years of experience in SQL
- Must have good understanding of Policy Admin System conversion/Migration.
- Must have good knowledge of Policy Administration System design and architecture.
- Must have hand-on experience of Insurance Policy Admin System Migration/Conversion project
- Must be aware of new technologies and market updates with respect to Life and Annuity business.
- Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and design the proposed IT solution.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations and provide input to information/ data flow and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
- Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.
- Document High Level and Low Level technical specifications.
- Good communication, problem solving & interpersonal skills.
- Having Life insurance certifications such as LOMA will be added advantage.
Technical Skills:
- COBOL/DB2/VSAM
- Meetings & Reviews, Reporting & Documentation
- Very well versed with tools and techniques for efficient project management and reporting.
Soft skills (Desired)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Leadership skills
- Self-Motivated and ability to drive a large group.
Education/ Work Experience Requirements
- B.TECH/MCA
- PMP/ITIL will be preferred.
- 8yrs – 10yrs of experience in Mainframe Projects preferably in insurance domain.

- Max Hiring Rate $120,000.00
