Job Description: This role will report to the AVP of operations, managing subrogation/arbitration department for auto and commercial lines of businesses. The Subrogation manager will create and implement SOP’s to drive results. This role will be responsible for driving and measuring outcomes, providing analysis into trends and solving for areas of opportunity.  

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of multiple subrogation/arbitration teams – operations
  • Measure and provide insight on key KPI’s at team and department level
  • Measure and ensure client SLA’s maintained
  • Ensure proper SOP’s maintained for each client and line of business
  • Assess areas of opportunity through reporting trends and file reviews
  • Handle customer complaints from clients or members.
  • Field questions and concerns to provide support and improve knowledge base of the team.
  • Provide and implement process improvements.

  • Manage and analyze results for multiple lines of business within subrogation unit
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the team and clients.
  • Think critically about process improvements.
  • Implement processes and reporting – partnered with internal reporting team
  • Ability to handle a pressure-based environment, while maintaining a professional demeanor.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree in related field is preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in the insurance industry or related field is desired
