Regional Visual Manager

POSITION
The Regional Visual Manager is responsible for the visual presentation of cultural attraction stores to extend the venues experience into the stores and present products to increase per capita sales year over year. The Director of Visual Merchandising will work with the Like Business Teams to maximize space planning resulting in ease of shopping for the guest that leads to organic growth in revenues. The Director of Visual Merchandising is a key liaison between Store Quality, Product, Purchasing and Planning communities at the SSC as it relates to visual merchandising.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Identify product presentation and fixturing opportunities to enhance the store appearance, extend the venue experience into the store, maximize space allocation and drive capture rate, average dollar sale that result in positive per caps.
- Analyze store department performance information to determine areas to improve product productivity through merchandising.
- Partner with the Director Store Leadership Development on training tools for Store Teams in visual merchandising.
- Provide visual merchandising direction for product/visual merchandising initiatives using weekly and quarterly store communication tools.
- Identify and approve fixtures (vendor and non vendor) to maximize store space allocation, functionality and drive sales.
- Partner with Director Store Design on space allocation, store layout, props to enhance space for all new stores, transitions and remodel projects.
- Support in new Partnership transitions as needed.
- Other duties and special projects as required.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in visual merchandising for a multi-unit specialty retail chain.
- Strong visual merchandising and product presentation skills.
- Highly collaborative team player with a track record of partnering with others to meet objectives
- Strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to switch gears quickly and efficiently while handling multiple, concurrent tasks under tight timelines.
- Ability to plan, organize and effectively present ideas, concepts in both verbal and written form.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self-directed and motivated.
Travel Requirements:
- The Director of Visual Merchandising will be required to travel approximately 35% of the time.
